Robert Goldie - Board President

Bob Goldie is a computer systems engineer who helps keep city programs running at the Bureau of Technology Services. Bob's background is in Global Information Systems (i.e. map programs), until recently he worked for Portland Transit. Bob is also a musician. He has a pretty serious music technology habit, which helps him stay on top of the latest developments in music gear and software. He is a guitar player and enjoys recording and performing with his band.

Bob Goldie began working with Old Library Studio in 2004, as the volunteer "gear wrangler" responsible for overseeing the equipment for the new recording facility. He later joined the OLS board of directors, and took over the reigns as Board President in 2008.

Would you like to see Old Library Studio begin offering music technology classes for Adults too ?

Quotes

This is a great program for teens who want to learn to make recordings and compose their own music. Many programs focus on playing music, but it's rare to find a program that teaches teens to make music.
