Mary Ann Harty - Past President 

Mary Ann Harty is neither musician nor technowizard, but she is mother to a rock musician. Her daughter Vera is a band coach for the rock n'roll camp for girls, and the drummer for one of Portland's best loved bands, Swan Island.

 

Perhaps best described as the "Diane Keaton of Accounting," Mary Ann Harty has served on Old Library Studio's board of dir

ectors since 2004, offering her talents as volunteer grantwriter, budget coach, and mentor to the executive director. Since February 2006 Mary Ann has served as NW Digital Art Kids' board president. A former librarian, cost accountant, and chief financial officer, Mary Ann holds an MBA degree and a CMA credential. She is a sought after "master of accounting ER," aspiring fiction writer, and nonprofit volunteer. She is most proud of her work with Old Library Studio.

Mary Ann continues to provide good council as a member of Old Library Studio's Advisory Board
