Mary Ann Harty was President of OLS for three years, serving from 2006 to fall 2008 and has served the organization since 2004.

Mary Ann joined the Advisory Board in fall 2008.  Ms. Harty holds graduate degrees in library science and business management. A multiple career changer she has held positions ranging from librarian to cost accountant, to political organizer and chief financial officer.    Mary  Ann has volunt

eered many hours to OLS, serving initially as grant writer, fund raiser, budget coach and mentor to the Executive Director and subsequently as director and Board chair.  Ms. Harty currently serves in an advisory capacity to the President.  As a lifetime volunteer she happily donates her time to organizations which offer creative or educational opportunities to children and youth.
