About Mr. Noah Kleiman
Noah has served as Executive Director of Old Library Studio since the nonprofit organization was founded (under the name "NW Digital Art Kids"), in 2003, in that time he has proven to be a charismatic and effective leader, an inspiring teacher, a masterful sound engineer, and a playful composer. A very resourceful and creative person, "Mr. Noah" is a person who can do a lot with very little.In recognition of his work at Old Library Studio the publishers of Willamette Week awarded Noah the 2006 Skidmore Prize for the Arts. Noah holds a B.A. in Computer Music from the University of California at Santa Cruz.

Sherri Phillips has been working in marketing and communications with not for profit organizations and start up companies for over ten years. As Development Wizard, Sherri will bring strong community focus to Old Library Studio through programming and additional outreach. Basically, she'll have you hooked! As a Peace Corps Volunteer (Kazakhstan 2001 - 2003), Sherri was instrumental in securing a grant through the UNDP and accomplishing goals using mostly local and sustainable resources. Sherri speaks Russian and is "mama" to two-year old Henri. |

Larry Crane is the editor and founder of Tape Op . From 1994 to 1997 he ran Laundry Rules Recording out of a home basement in Portland and recorded artists like Versus, 2 Foot Flame, Stephen Malkmus and Catpower. Since 1997 he’s owned and run Jackpot! Recording Studio, Inc., a busy mid-sized studio in Portland, Oregon. He's spoken on and moderated panels about recording for TapeOpCon, SXSW, NXNW, NARAS, Indie Music Forum and CMJ. He has played in bands since 1984, including Elephant Factory, Vomit Launch, Sunbirds, Foggy Notion and Flaming Box of Ants. |
